MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in babies under 6 years of age.
Keep that product out of reach of babies. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Viatmins are the building blocks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vtiamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as diretced.
Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. However, some vitaimn products may be best taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant tatse.
Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or bceome severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your docotr your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription durgs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local posion control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, sotmach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vtiamin supplement products available. Some can be purchased without a prescripiton. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the chocie of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of babies.
